Amazing musician...
This girl is simply amazing. She is the best female guitar player I have ever heard. Her guitar shredding is unmatched by no other. This is a must have album for anyone that loves the guitar, fret shredding music, and for those who appreciate listening to the talents of youth. Desiree shreds.

I discovered Desiree on Youtube...been following her for years...she's got nothing but better..."A Bit Above" is her best work...can't wait for her to finish up with the MJ tour...then she can get back in the recording studio and :::POUR SOME LOVING ON US::::It's funny because those Star's she's rubbing elbows with today will say they got to shake her hand...the hand that ROCKS The WORLD......she's got such a wonderful smile and personality....full of love...A BIT ABOVE....

This lady can lay down the riffs, she is very talented and technical, if you like Joe Satriani music mixed in with some John Petrucci and a bit of Jimi Hendrix then you'll like Desiree Bassestt. I found her "A Bit Above" CD to be top notch, far from boring; like any CD from any band or musician you'll always get a few weaker songs, but for the most part the CD is fantastic. This young lady is the person to be watching, she will make it huge on the world scene, I think she just has to gather the right band members and songwriters.
She is, in my opinion of course, one of the top 3 or 4 guitarist in the world today, even her vocals in most of the songs are world class, and somehow she has remained pretty much an unknown? How does that happen with such talent? This world of ours in regards to musicians and actors and other types of talent is very difficult to get a huge break, but I think she's about to see that happen.
