From Chesterfield, Massachusetts, DJ Ragoza got his start in 2003 when was at the age of 15. He would DJ at house parties and events for family and friends throughout high school. After a few years, Ragoza started catching the attention of local Hip Hop and R&B artists and began to get booked as a show DJ. This allowed him to get into venues that he was not yet old enough to get into otherwise at that time. Once the owners and mangers heard his mixing, he instantly started getting booked at these venues for his own nights.
In early 2010, Ragoza’s reputation as a DJ continued to grow steadily as he played at countless nightclubs, bars, concerts and private events throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. In 2014, he began to post videos of his mini sets and routines on social media and these videos began to circulate rapidly with some gaining over 500,000 views. This opened up opportunities for him to DJ in many different states including NY, NJ, PA, NC, SC, FL, MI, KC & CA.
In 2015, Ragoza Won his first DMC DJ competition in Tampa FL gaining him respect in battle world in addition to the nightclub circuit. He returned to Tampa in 2017 and won his 2nd DMC title and in 2019, he won his 3rd title in Washington DC.
DJ Ragoza is also well known for his edits and mash ups which he started releasing in 2015 on the very respected and well known Crooklyn Clan website. His work as an editor became very popular and as of today, DJ’s all over the world are playing his edits and mash ups at every type of event imaginable.
Today Ragoza is known world wide for his fun, high energy style of mixing many different genres together while having it make sense and sound good. Currently, he is a resident DJ at the world famous Foxwoods Resort Casino in CT, he also continues to travel, make videos, release edits and make radio appearances on very popular platforms such as Eminem’s “Shade45” on SiriusXM and the Kidd Kraddick Morning show. He is also highly dedicated to improving his skills constantly, practicing his craft 20+ hours per week on top everything else.
